About the Event:
When it comes to crafting an unforgettable wedding, every element, from the music to the mementos, should tell the couple’s story. For this celebration in Austin, Texas, Fête Society had the honor of creating a collection of custom pieces that perfectly captured the couple’s aspired aesthetic.
This wedding wasn’t just an event, it was a feeling and an acknowledgement of the couple's personality and love story.
The Inspiration:
The couple first met in Austin while both visiting their friends, a trip that would unexpectedly change their lives. Years later, they returned to the city to say I do, and they naturally wanted every detail of their celebratory weekend to be perfect.
Our vision was a mix of Texas charm and elevated chic. They had a palette of soft greens and creams, an energetic atmosphere, and custom details by yours truly that tied it all together.
The Design:
At Fête Society, we believe event details are about more than just matching your theme, they help create memories and feelings on important days that you never want to forget. For this wedding, we created three standout pieces that instantly became guest favorites and signature memorabilia of the weekend.
Custom Ornaments
This couple didn't do traditional invitations. They sent our custom ornaments out to their guests around the holidays; they doubled as a holiday card, a gift, AND an invitation. The Austin motel inspired pieces were hand blown glass, and looked absolutely amazing. These trinkets were just a foreshadow of all the thoughtful details of this wedding.
Custom Scarves
Endlessly chic, these custom designed and printed scarves continued on their western theme. The bride had shared with us that she loved a specific pair of boots from CITY, so we hand designed the boots in the scarf design to mimic them. We then added a very personal touch inspired by Austin's iconic mural, the words 'i love you so much'. Finally, we added a chain outline to the design. We are so obsessed with the end result!
Custom Cocktail Napkins
Fête knows the bar is where the good stuff happens. To make it even more memorable, we designed bespoke cocktail linen napkins embroidered with a custom design and a scalloped edge. We also designed next level disposable cocktail napkins printed with a tribute to the bride's mother, Roxanne, 'Rox' for short. It read, 'A cocktail that's as bold as it is feminine. It blends strength with elegance- just like the woman who inspired it! Served on the Rox, this vibrant, refreshing drink balances the crispiness of citrus with delicate floral notes, creating a cocktail that's light yes unapologetically confident.' These apparently small details made a big difference in tying together and elevating the reception’s theme, while also making things extra personal and special.
Custom Hats
No Austin celebration is complete without a little extra fun detail like this one. These embroidered trucker hats, featuring the word 'Howdy' in a timeless script, became the unofficial uniform of the weekend. Guests danced, lounged, and looked extra good in them all day and night long. They were the perfect way to add even more southern charm and personality to the couple's theme-filled events.
Beyond the Design

Our role was to capture that essence in tangible details, in pieces that guests could touch, wear, and remember. We were very pleased with the results, that being a weekend that felt like them, in every little sense.
